365 Connect, the award-winning online technology platform provider for the multifamily industry, announced today its participation in the second annual “Bring Your Daughter to Hack Day” event being held in New Orleans, LA. 365 Connect and GE Capital Technology Center are the key sponsors of the event. The Bring Your Daughter to Hack Day event, which is produced by New Orleans Women in Technology, is free and will take place on October 3, 2015, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the University of New Orleans.

Bring Your Daughter to Hack Day is focused on exposing youth in the New Orleans area to technology, such as creating websites, animated short stories and games. The one-day workshop is planned around adult-child pairs working together on their project. No prior experience is required of participants, as guidance from on-site coaches will help them build their creation. At the end of the day, participants will present their creations to a judging panel, and a winner will be selected for each project category.

This event was launched last year thanks to the sponsorship of 365 Connect; they continue to be a strong supporter of our organization, the technology community and the future of our city.

We are especially pleased to have GE Capital join us this year, they are a vital part of the technology community that is pushing our city into the national spotlight.”
